Tug Boats by Joseph CasapintaShireburn Software is proud to support local and renowned artist Joseph Casapinta who is launching his 10th solo exhibition on the 4th November, at Palazzo de Piro, Mdina. The exhibition will feature his newest collection of watercolour paintings produced in his studio but also in the style of a true impressionist, en plein air.
Shireburn supports local art and talent as part of its CSR programme through which the company seeks to give back to the community.
The large paintings introduced in this exhibition, a dominant feature in Casapinta’s new collection, display a free flowing style in watercolour.

A separate publication for this exhibition will provide a more in-depth look at Casapinta, both as the artist but also as a man.

About the artist
Joseph Casapinta, an artist well known for his command of all mediums, has this time embarked upon a creative journey, an exploration of the real places that have inspired him throughout his life. In order to fulfil this, Casapinta has developed a technique with watercolours that is beyond the traditional. Indeed he states unequivocally that his inspiration is part of the technique he uses. The ICTSA will this year be celebrating its 20th Anniversary since its establishment as a University of Malta Student Association. It has this year also branched out to include all ICT MCAST students. ICTSA strives to represent all students reading any degree in some way associated with information and communications technology.

A group of Shireburn employees and their families yesterday participated in the 7th edition of the President’s Solidarity Fun Run raising funds for a good cause with their participation. All proceeds from the walk were in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund.
