Payroll Module

The SPS Payroll Module provides a complete payroll solution that is in full compliance with all legislative requirements for full-time, reduced hours, part time and casual work employees. The payroll module includes employee details maintenance, leave management, payroll calculation, payroll reports and payslips, direct credit payment processing, cheque printing and submission of periodical FSS returns in both paper and electronic format as required by current legislation. Shireburn Payroll maintains full audit trials, is SEPA compliant and is updated regularly to conform to any changes in legislation. Shireburn Payroll also supports:

Leave Management Module

Streamline your leave application process with Shireburn Leave Manager - the web-based leave management system that interfaces directly with SPS for a fully automated leave process.

Using the ‘access from anywhere’ portal, employees can submit and cancel leave requests, and view balances with calendar integration. Management can easily approve or reject leave applications, view holiday schedules, sick leave taken, trends and approval audits without the cumbersome paperwork traditional leave application processes entail.

Time and Attendance Module

The SPS Time and Attendance module automates the collection and posting of time and attendance data into the payroll system. Employees clock in the start and end of their respective shifts, where the data is then downloaded from the clocking devices to the SPS node. This can be done either directly or via an available network connection. The SPS T&A module reads the downloaded file and uploads the available records into the module database.

    • Identifies discrepancies between actual clocking times and the standard start and end times
    • Automatically identify shifts attended by employees according to pre-defined parameters
    • Extensive reporting functionality of discrepancies and attendance
    • Data (leave/overtime) is transferred to the actual payroll for use in the next calculation
