Shireburn staff, family and friends gather to celebrate the company’s 30th Anniversary by planting 30 Maltese indigenous trees at the Sant’Antnin Family Park in Marsascala.

As part of our 30th anniversary and our corporate social responsibility initiatives, Shireburn Software has donated 30 Maltese indigenous trees to the Sant’Antnin Family Park in Marsascala. Management, staff and their families gathered to celebrate the success of the company last Saturday 6th April and give back to the community and environment by planting these 30 trees.

“Shireburn Software is all about creating solutions to better manage business processes, with financial and document management systems that help reduce the need for paper and storage”, said John de Giorgio, Managing Director. “We felt that tree planting was a natural fit for the occasion and hope to return to the site in years to come to enjoy the outcome and hopefully plant more trees.”

Golden Gate eStoreGolden Gate stationers and printers recently launched their new eStore powered by Shireburn Software – a faster, easier and far more cost-effective way of doing business.

The good news for businesses in Malta is that they can source all their office supplies, printing requirements and self-inking stamps from an eStore that has been built and designed with the end user in mind, backed by a company with over 60 years’ experience in B2B stationery and powered by the latest software.

Golden Gate has, in fact, been offering online shopping since 2007. As part of its 60-year celebrations, the company embarked on a rebranding exercise that included the development of its second- generation eStore.

Having recognised the importance of technological advances, Golden Gate continued to invest heavily in providing customers with the latest technology available to continuously provide a better service.

To maximise the eStore’s potential, the company’s IT system was re-built, enabling the direct and automated link between the e-store, inventory and accounting systems.

Shireburn Software, a Maltese company established since 1983, which consists of a team of over 30 professionals, was awarded the project of developing the new eStore, utilising its state-of-the-art eStore software fully integrated with Shireburn Inventory Management System (SIMS) and Shireburn Financial Manager (SFM).
