Shireburn Software this week welcomed a group of 16 French ICT students from Lycée La Rebours Paris. The students visited Malta to improve their English, and learn how companies like Shireburn thrive in their sector, both locally and overseas. The visit was coordinated by the Maltese French Chamber of Commerce.
Over the years, Shireburn has supported education and ICT in a number of ways. The company recently sponsored the University of Malta ICT Student Association (ICTSA), signing a one year agreement as a gold sponsor. Through this agreement, Shireburn supports ICTSA in reaching its objectives as a focal student body in the future of ICT in Malta, seeking to attract more students to this sector. The collaboration between Shireburn and ICTSA will also ensure that students benefit from excellent career opportunities and industry exposure, both throughout their formal studies at the University, but also beyond.
