How do I download a payroll update?

In the payroll go to Help > Web Update

The following screen will be displayed. Click on the “Check” button to check for available updates.

If there are no available updates the following screen will be displayed. Click on the “OK” button to close the screen.

If there are new updates you will see the screen below, with the new version information. Click “Ok” to proceed.


Click on the “Download” button to download the new version onto the server.

When the download is completed close and open the payroll system as intructed in the screen above.

When you open the system the first time after the update, you may see the above screen. This happens when a data structure update is required. Make sure all users are logged out of the system and click on the “Yes” button to run the Structure Update.

The system will first take a backup of your payroll data then start the structure update.

When the structure update is complete you have to open the Payroll System again as instructed below.

The following screen will be displayed. Click “OK” to update your local payroll application from the copy downloaded onto the server.

If you have the Time & Attendance module and there is an updated version, the following screen will be displayed in order to update the module. All you have to do click the “OK” button and the job is done.
