Shireburn Software’s Concessionaire Analyser+ (CA+) is a software solution that allows airport terminal operators to manage the retail activities of concessionaires at a time when they increasingly rely on retail spaces for the maximisation of revenue.



The Shireburn CA+ allows sales data from concessionaires to be centrally collected analysed, reported on, audited and used for invoicing of revenue-sharing concessions. CA+ enables the analysis of the business intelligence regarding retail activities in the airport allowing you to assess values of spend by carrier, route, day of week, time of day, location in retail space etc. This enables the terminal operator to better negotiate with both carriers and concessionaires and to optimise the retail mix within the airport.
Concessionaire's sales data is able to be fed into the CA+ in any mix of two ways:
  • via interfaces - concessionaires continue to use their existing POS solution which they then interface to the CA+ using a number of methods (including direct integration using web services, downloading of structured files or even through Microsoft Excel with levels of automation to suit the concessionaires’ IT systems.
  • via Airport POS - terminal operators have the option of deploying Airport POS, a POS solution designed specifically for the airport retailing environment which has integration points with Flight Information Data Systems (FIDS).Concessionaire's sales data is able to be fed into the CA+ in any mix of two ways:

Terminal operators can allow any mix of concessionaires using their own system or Airport POS. In addition to providing the FIDS integration, Airport POS allows a terminal to provide a chargeable managed service to the concessionaire for the leasing of the space inclusive of the IT infrastructure. In this way concessionaires do not have to worry about support and maintenance of the infrastructure which becomes the responsibility of the airport operator who would rapidly change faulty hardware so as to maintain high levels of availability.
